Malaysia

11/20/25 - 11/28/25

We recently traveled to Penang to visit Dad and Tracy. Our journey began with a drive to Dallas for a late-night Cathay Pacific flight, routing through Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur before finally reaching Penang. Before our departure from DFW, we enjoyed a great meal at the Centurion Lounge. The long haul was smooth, and our layover in Hong Kong was seamless. Although we were disappointed to find our favorite coffee shop at the Hong Kong airport closed, we made the most of it by heading to the upstairs dining area for breakfast—Chad enjoyed a milk tea while Tsolmon had the Hong Kong-style noodles.

Upon reaching Kuala Lumpur, we were surprised to find a massive mall integrated directly into the airport. After taking a bus to the other terminal, we noticed how relaxed everyone seemed, despite our flight running a bit behind schedule. Tsolmon was especially excited to finally reach Penang, as this marked her very first visit to Malaysia.
